The purpose of this weekly update is to make sure our community can follow development with toes dipped in before & between jumping headlong into helping shape Ubuntu Server.

Server Sprint

The Canonical Server team met in Denver, Colorado this week. The purpose was to review the previous release and review progress on Artful work as well as plan out goals for the next LTS coming next year.

    • Full review of all outstanding merge requests. Comments added where changes, fixes, or clarifications are needed.
    • Updated vmtest to get port from kernel by using port 0.
